Lazer Tag Date Set!
The Clintoneers are going Lazer Tagging!

Where: Meet at Mechanicsburg CC. We will caravan/carpool to X-site in Castleton
Meet at 9am. We can play as many rounds as we can until 11:30am. Cost is $13 per person. Bring money for lunch afterwards.
Parents and siblings (ages 6 and up) are encouraged to attend!

Spring Trips/Awards Application Due
The applications for the Spring Trips/Awards are due Monday, February 15 to the Boone County 4-H Extension Office.

Meeting this Sunday!

Mechanicsburg Christian Church
Special Guest Nancy Guernsey will be talking with us about the many, many opportunities for trips, prizes and scholarships available to 4-H members. We will learn what you need to know to qualify and compete for these awards and prizes. Parents are welcome to attend.
We will also elect officers for 2010 and provide opportunities for signing up for demonstrations and refreshments for the 2010 year.
Township awards for those who missed the township awards program along with return of any records/ribbons/awards not picked up at the Fair will also be available.

Enrollment Deadline Less Than 2 Weeks
The deadline for youth to enroll in the Boone County 4-H program for 2010 is December 15th. This is also your last opportunity to add a new project for the 2010 4-H Fair.
Any youth interested in becoming a Boone County 4-H member must submit an enrollment form and $10.00 fee no later than December 15th. Enrollment forms are available from the Purdue Extension office of Boone County, located at the 4-H Fairgrounds, and their web site at www.ibccn.org/ces . For more information contact the Extension office at 765-482-0750, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Vote to Preserve The Dull's Tree Farm Barn
The Dull Family has been a long-time supporter of Boone County 4-H by serving in a variety of volunteer positions, and Western Boone FFA is a strong partner of Boone County 4-H.
The Western Bone FFA along with Clinton Prairie FFA and Dull's Tree Farm are competing to participate in the: CAMPBELL SOUP COMPANY AND THE NATIONAL FFA ORGANIZATION PRESERVING BARNS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. They are down to the final ten. Five barns will be funded.
